  • Family Support and Engagement Lead (fixed term)

     Start date:  ASAP

     Contract type:  Fixed Term

    Salary: Ark Support Staff scale 7, points 18 – 24, actual salary £26,019 - £29,592 based on 40 hours per week, term time only

     Deadline: Monday 17th November 2025 at 12 noon

    Ark Tindal Primary Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic practitioner with high expectations and a passion for making a difference, to join our supportive team this term.

     An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Family Support & Engagement Lead to join our dedicated team, making a real impact on the outcomes of our pupils. This is a great opportunity for someone, preferably with prior experience of similar roles, who has a passion and enthusiasm for improving the life outcomes of our pupils, and who will inspire our children to achieve their full potential.

    The role will be based within our Pastoral Team, focusing on a variety of areas including:

    •  Safeguarding, by acting as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
    •  Community engagement, building on a strong foundation of community support already in place to ensure that pupils and their families are well supported, both within and beyond school.
    •  Partnering with community organisations, such as Citizens UK, building a team of parent/carer leaders to address community needs.
    •  Provision of targeted support for vulnerable families experiencing long and short-term challenges.
    •  Liaison with other agencies, working with others to remove barriers to learning and improve our families’ lives.
